Well, Aslo is here, and not without a certain feeling of guilt at finding myself interested in this art form, I hope that is natural. That guilt, however, is equally matched by my embarrassment at divulging the level I am currently at. Total newb, rookie, AFC, clown, any of those fit. I admit that Neil Strauss' The Game is what led me here, because, truly, once I tasted the forbidden fruit I had to have it.

Right now I am completely discouraged. I tried Chief's training mission of just saying a simple hello to any girl that you encounter, but I couldn't do it. I feel socially worthless. Does what you learn as a member of this community actually work in the real world? I feel like there is so much to learn about it that it would be impossible to keep it all in order when approaching an actual girl. I guess at least I made myself go out and try it...but failed. Where do I go from here?

It's quite typical for people when faced with a task that appears so detailed and advanced they don't start in the first place. But every journey starts with one step.

One thing I have noticed within the community is the constant debunking of other theories and ideas. So you learn one thing to be told it's complete bullshit by someone else. It messes people up, but it is very profitable.t

From my observations of the old-guard like Mystery to the new guard of AFCAdam there really isn't ALL that much difference in the basic fundementals that make up 90% of the game.

Aproach Anxiety is you placing too much value on approaching girls. What you need to do is go and plan some cool shit. Plan a bungee jump, and sky dive, a white water rafting. Do something fun NON-PUA related. Enhance your life. By doing this you learn what your all about. If you can do that crazy fun shit, approaching girls is no different.

Next time your in town don't take a phone or watch. Go there by bus! Go and shop, and then when you think you bus is near ask the first hot chick you see what the time is. There you go... you've started You HAVE to ask someone the time at the end of the day!!! This "say hello" starter is bullshit! There's NO reason to say hello... do something useful that u need to find out... the time!

"Hey, do you have the time? I haven't got my watch and I have bus I do not want to miss" and remember to fucking smileeee!!

I know people make fun of this kind of stuff on this forum. They say "You had to spend money to learn how to pickup women". But personally I would say scope out the local bootcamps in your area, post them on here and some people have taken the same one and can give you a detailed review.

I was actually floating on the same boat as you exactly 3 weeks ago. I am still an AFC, but an improved AFC. Not bullshitting, I was possibly worse. I've never kissed a girl, went out on 1 date which I wouldn't even consider a date, only held a girls hand twice in my whole life haha besides my mom.

3 weeks later, I got my first number close on a transit bus. This was after two 2 hour sessions with a bootcamp. I was radiating so much confidence the girl actually opened to me. She was far from a 10, maybe a 5. But if I can do that, I can do much better. The great part was I can tell I was making her pussy wet by just talking to her, the fact when I was leaving the bus because I had work, her head pretty much blew up and she made a sad puppy face. She wanted to fuck me soo hard.

I would say it is pretty much impossible to do it by yourself. When in your state built up over the years, you can't just approach a girl to tell her shes cute, you cant even say hello! You either need a friend to motivate you or a bootcamp guide.

Exactly, a lot of guys here are here because they have the same problems. You don't need to feel guilty. It's like when you have a psychological problem and you go see a therapist, do you feel guilty for that? for asking for help? I don't think so.
