Let's say I'm going to a kegger this weekend. Lots of booze, hot chicks, and unfortunately lots of guys who are either naturals or PUAs who know what they're doing. Competition would be tight. A rAFC like myself isn't gonna stand a chance unless I have a game plan.

I notice that a lot of guys fighting over a hot chick try to be the AMOG, and some obviously succeed. But most of the time they act like assholes while doing it. That's not what I want to do. First of all I don't want to fight for a woman. I wanna be the laid back guy who seems to not give a shit. At the same time I also wanna be alpha, cause women go for AMOGs. But is there a way to do it without acting like a cocky shithead?

When I usually practice being alpha, I tend to make a lot of good jokes, dominate the conversation, direct it, etc. I ultimately make the other guys trying to be alpha (the threats) look not alpha by drawing attention to when they're wrong, criticizing them in a subtle way, and stuff like that. But my morals tell me that that's kinda being a dick. Is there a way to be the AMOG without being a dick? Any advice is appreciated.

Unfortunately you can't AMOG without being a dick. Not in my opinion; however a lot of people think I'm a dick and it doesn't hurt my feelings. Especially because i go home with the girl that they wanted. What you need is to be witty. The typical you gay, or whatever your go to line is, is a bad Idea. If you can get the crowd to participate in your AMOG, then you are working it right. Also you need to take it in a direction that women will be able to participate too. So callin him a pussy making fun of something the the woman wouldn't like in also out of the picture. So lets break it down. Woman are into several things one the love attention: go to AMOG- This guy thinks he is the center of the world, I no one ever gets a word in. or something witty in this fashion. Witch bring me to my next point, Fashion: Hey this guys got both his collars popped, I bet the shirt underneath says dushbag on it. Well you get the point. You got to get her interested in not liking the other guys, and most of the time you will look like a dick, unless you get a few other people to agree. Its politics, I personally don't like using AMOG tactics. Be more than those guys, Dress better, Be more interesting and be funny.
