I just picked up Armani Diamonds, good scent. Head to your local shopping mall and go to (idk what the equivalent in the UK is) Macy's or JCPenny outlet and ask the people behind the fragrance counter. Tell them exactly what your looking for!

Btw, a "good" cologne will run some $$ depending on the brand.

I would've thought Tom Ford is pretty well known.

But I don't get why people need to know who made your cologne. The point is that it smells good on you. You shouldn't be wearing so much of it that everyone around you starts asking you what you're wearing. I wouldn't recommend talking too much to the people at the fragrance counter though, they're usually asked to push a particular product on you.

If you don't want to dress like an old person, go to a clothes store younger people frequent and ask a cute girl or gay dude for outfit ideas. Buy some men's fashion magazines, check out the ads and look for stuff that you like in them, then go shopping.

I goy myself a big bottle of Echo from Davidoff. Before I bought it (tax free), i had some girls judging it, and they really loved it.

It's a light, refreshing scent.. I really like it!

It's expensive though, I got it tax free and with a big discount in San Marino (tax free country in the middle of Italy) and still payed about 60 euro's.

Cologne is definitely a lot of personal preference. I don't like spicy scents, preferring softer scents.

My go tos are D&G Light Blue and Le Male by Jean Paul Gaultier. I'm in Canada, and a lot of guys here have never heard of Light Blue, which is good because it is a little unique at least. Lot of girls comment on how good it smells. Le Male is more vanilla-y thus a little more... well, feminine I guess, but chicks dig it too.

For a little more edge I go with Armani Attitude... again though, it's whatever works for you. From my limited research into colognes, the same cologne can smell different on 2 different guys, so try out a bunch and see what you like...

sadly in london you can only buy tom ford in high-end shops harrods, harvey nicholls, selfridges, and house of fraser!
my problem is that i tend to dress really conservatively i tend to dress smart all the time i own no sports wear what so ever and i dont ever wear trainers only shoes or boots! its usually a shirt mainly white or black, jeans, a suit jacket and shoes

For some reason, women LOVE how I smell when I'm wearing Tommy Bahamas. Dirt cheap and non designer. It's great.

ACQUA DI by Gio Armani. Smell so good and I never had so much comments on my cologne with this one. Just be sure that you don't take one that smell like one of your friend or too much popular where you are.

london?

directly go for abercrombie & fitch - fierce

let me say i have a lot of cologne and nearly every single one of the above mentioned, but this one just kicks ass.

best thing is, that it is really rare, in london it should even be like close to noone has it, here in germany really no one has it and its by far the best cologne i know
