Hi,
I had a friend express a highly cynical view to me tonight; I was telling him how there are a lot of guys on this forum who have benefitted from learning about PUA stuff, and are now getting laid with beautiful women.

He laughed in my face and said I was naive to believe that these few people are who they say they are, he said they're probably just making this shit up to live a fantasy life online and get people's respect and admiration. He said he's spent a lot of time on line and met plenty of guys who pretend to be 15 year old asian school girls, just so that people want to talk to them and show them love.

Could this be true of the pick up gurus on this site? I want to believe in pick up I really do, but I need evidence to have some faith.

I wasn't suggesting they were 15 year old girls... I was suggesting that puas on this site might not be who they say they are. I 'm not saying it's true, it just makes me think....

I looked through two pages of videos - only one was of a live pick up, a # close. The rest were generally of gurus talking about their theories - hardly proof that this stuff really works.

Look around you at the guys that have succes with women! What are they doing that gets them women? Are they kissing them in the ass? Are they afc? No...they are cocky and funny, they are interesting, they have stories to tell, they are being confident, they don't give a shit about what others people think! Maybe some of the gurus don't have the game they say they have but what they say works. Don't be another afc, be a man!

I think you'll find some people exaggerate their skills (keyboard jockeys) and some guys really do have amazing skills. I've met guys in both categories. Why not try and meet some guys from your area? If you pay for coaching you can always ask for a refund if it turns out the guy is full of shit. However you should mostly be worrying about what you can do to improve yourself. Your friend is right that is naive to believe every claim you read online but if you don't believe there are steps you can take to improve your life and your success with women then.... you're just plain wrong as anyone on here who has improved their lot (me included) can testify

Read the posts on this forum and you will start to see who is real and who is not. The good ones here are the real deal though.
