Hey everyone, I couldn't decide if I just wanted to be real and use my actual name or end up taking an internet handle. With the way the economy is and the job market, I figured that I'd play it safe.

So I'm Cylon (Yes the Robot Human People from Battlestar Galactica).

Right now I'm located in Minneapolis, MN and am a 23 year old guy who just got out of college. My first exposure to "The Game" as in my Jr. year of college, where a friend of mine had a copy of "The Game" that he was reading and insisted that I read to try and help me get out of the funk of recently leaving a 2 year relationship. The book inspired me, and did wonders for my confidence, so much that I was dating 3 girls at the same time. I ended up dating one of those girls exclusively for about a year and a half before irreconcilable differences came between us.

So I'm looking back to the community to try and regain that sense of confidence, and sense of better self through studying the game. I have recently been reading books in the evening, and listening to books and podcasts (Shoutout to Sinn in the Cities, it's been really helpful) during the day at work (I get to listen to my iPod at work).

Right now I'm not sure if there's an actual method that I've really been using. I've been doing research and finding things that work for me and integrating them where I can see them being helpful. I currently am doing the exercises in Gunwitch's Way of the Gun to help me out overall, but other than that, I'm very open to suggestions. I've been told of a few books that I should read about Evolutionary Psychology that seem really interesting.

The Goal that I'm after is to make myself a better person, and to have the confidence and self worth to be able to live the lifestyle that I dream of, and the skills so that I can make myself more successful interacting with the opposite sex. I've always been able to become friends with people easily, and have always been a great conversationalist, however I just don't have the self confidence or the correct direction to actually use those skills in pickup.

So, TLDR: I'm Cylon, and I'm here to learn how to be a better person.
