Today was day 6 of the Stylelife Challenge for me, and as I read the challenge on the bus to school early this morning (before the sun was even up), the challenge seemed pretty simple; give out four compliments, 2 can be to people you know and 2 to complete strangers.

I am ashamed to say I didn't even finish the challenge today. Fuck! haha. I really wasn't feeling it today, I got to school and I was just down on myself. I tried false confidence, false pride, body language, but it didn't really work. Another day stuck inside my head.

I'm gonna do this challenge again tomorrow and actually DO IT.

Cause hey, fuck it, right? I have to stop worrying about the outcome of my interactions and living in the moment. I shouldn't go up to compliment a girl on her nice shirt thinking about whether she is going to reject or accept me. I should go up to the girl thinking about how nice her shirt is.

WHAT I LEARNED:
When you approach a girl, it should *almost* never be outcome based. It should be in the moment. If you approach a girl because you want to kiss her, think of the initial moment of wanting to kiss her, don't just think of "how can I prevent this girl from rejecting me? how can I kiss this girl successfully?".

The only times outcome-based approaches are helpful are when they are positive. Think of what you want, but don't keep that on your mind the whole interaction. You want to kiss the girl? Okay, now convey that feeling in the moment. Let her feel the same way you do.

I actually think it's important for people to post what they learn. Glad to hear you're making progress. And you're absolutely right btw!
