Have you ever noticed that?

They flake on you (no call.. no text.. no email... nothing). Then two weeks later when you run into her again she acts so happy to see you, greet you really warmly, tries to hug you, like "heyyyy... hiiii... how are you???... good to see you!! how've you been??? "

I mean seriously..... I'm confused....wtf is that!?!?!

And then if her conscious is screwed up she'll start apologizing and/or offering lame excuses as to why she didn't call or contact you. Or even worse, she'll act like nothing ever happened, like you've never exchanged contact info with her ever or ever made plans with her. And what's pathetic about it is that since they all exhibit the same behavior, how can a man possibly take them seriously?

Yes I know she may be busy and that there may be OTHER things in her life that kept her away from making contact, but my point is one of taking RESPONSIBILITY for one's actions. To me its very IRRESPONSIBLE to act like you're buddy-buddy with someone when you snub them and ignore them without having the respect (for yourself) to follow up with the person.

Likewise, if you're going to igg somebody, then don't try to greet them when you see them again. Be congruent and keep it moving. When I'm confronted with a woman who tries to greet me warmly after she flakes on me, I completely dismiss her:

"get the fuck out of my face.........NEXT"
or
"back of the line bitch!"

Now I don't actually say that, but that's my body language and attitude, while being cool about it at the same time. Because half of the time when they flake, it's a test or an IOD. So I want them to feel an equal and/or greater level of IOD from me in return. Her test is to prove she's worthy of my time, while at the same time knowing I give just as less a f*ck about her as she does me. So although I don't say it, I know she FEELS it.

And for whatever the reason, my personality just won't allow me to warm up to a woman who greets me so exceptionally nice after flaking on plans and not be responsible enough to call and/or reschedule. I would feel like an absolute beta loser running behind a woman like that. But of course, that's the perfect 'chase' scenario for alot of females, I guess, right. Flake on a dude and then get him to come sniff out of your ass for more punishment I guess is what women find ideal, right? lol

Am I alone in feeling like this?

Girls in general can be really, really fake around people they don't like. Countless times, I've been with a girl as they've trashtalked another girl about how much they hate them and can't stand the other girl. 5 minutes later, we run into that girl, and they are like "OMG! I LOVE YOU! SO GOOD TO SEE YOU! HUGS AND KISSES!!!" And i'm talking 30 year old women, not even teenagers.

Not saying that's what was going on with you, but you can't use that reaction alone as proof that she likes you... you've got to look at tone, body language, etc. Best to just assume she does like you, and move from there even if it's not true and you get blown out, who cares.

I agree with you... I've witnessed the same exact behavior. I think it's because they're more socially savvy than men and therefore seek to manage perceptions of being nice. Whereas us men, we'll be real and upfront about how we feel about somebody even if it risks our social standing. Women on the other hand, won't risk it, so they'll pretend to be nice and happy at all costs, even when they don't really like somebody.
