Hey guys, I'm Jack and I'm fairly new to all this, spent the last couple of months absorbing some theory and making some approaches.

Anyway, theres this guy at work who has some knowledge (in that he has read The Game and Attraction is Not a Choice) but never actually goes out in the field to improve.

Tonight I got a text from this girl, saying that he told her what I'm involved in, reading books on how to get girls. She werent being insulting about it, but I cant tell exactly what her opinion is with this.

From my perspective, surely this massively lowers my value in her eyes?
How should I respond when the topic comes up (obviously it will) will this affect how she sees me?

Thanks lads

Jack

This is a difficult situation. I can't tell by my experience because I've never been in a situation like this. A way to disarm a confronting question is to totally exaggerate the answer that it becomes unrealistic and funny.

And don't forget to ask you're colleague why he such a Jalous bitch. He deserves it...

First off, that other guy is a douchebag
Second, you just gotta play off it. Say it was a joke book but once you read it it's about improving confidence in social situations and reading people and all.

This is tough

okay heres how I played it, not sure yet how its worked out.

Ill show you the texts and see if you think this was alright.

Kirsty

You read books on how to pull?!?! I take back what I said earlier about you being normal!! x x

Me

Lol I did when I was about 14! Dont knock it they were fun! :D
Take it that came from James? x x

(as a follow up)

Me

Its called the Game by a guy called Neil Strauss. Google it, Its a great story, I reckon you'll enjoy it x x

Kirsty

I may give it a go lol is that where you learnt your insulting trick? Cos James has tried that on girls as well!! And how comes your both single? lol x x

Me

Lol sadly thats a skill that cant be taught, it developed as a result of five years on Romford market :D
And again, sadly it aint a how to book, its a story. So dont go expecting to learn how to pull urself a nice lesbian from it! :D x x

end of texts

Thats how the conversation went. In case anyone was wondering, Romford Market is a permanent street market where I worked through school and college.

I think I came across a bit defensive in the first text, untill i decided to try to be more upfront and alpha and act like it isnt a big deal.

any thoughts would be much appreciated, and be critical if its needed.

Cheers guys
