So took out the cute girl who works in the coffee shop in the building where I work last night. I've been escalating things for a while now, and she finally agreed to hang out and get some drinks. So far, I've always felt positive about our interactions...

Everything went well last night and I picked up the tab. She didn't fight me on that and said she owed me a beer or dinner next time. I did use some Kino escalation during the evening and She initiated a hug and the end of the night.

So here's the problem...tonight as I'm leaving work, I see this other guy I work with waiting for her and they leave together. Now I know they are not dating. In fact this other dude recently hooked up with one of her co-workers in the cafe. So my question is how do I proceed?

Normally I would just have waited a while and invited her out again...but now she knows I saw her leave with other guy, so should I punish her by not contacting her...seeing if she'll get back to me? Or do I just pretend like nothing happend and just proceed normally.

* As a side note, she just moved to town a couple months ago and dosen't have many friends here also had three jobs up until recently and very little time.

Ok so your problem here is that you think that this other guy matter's? Here is the thing about being single..... Your single. Your not held down by one person.. you can date many people at the same time (thus the beauty of it) I wouldn't read to much into it to be honest with you. I wouldn't hold back from making contact with her. Hang out with her again and go out to dinner.. mention something along the lines of "humm this is the second time we are out to dinner.... I mean I cant blame you I am quite cute" One that I tend to use alot that will tell you ALOT about a girls intentions for you is "wow... you better be careful this almost seems like a date... and we wouldn't want that now would we." This is said in a playful manor and in what fashion they respond will tell you everything you need to know. If they give you a playful response you are in. The other guy was probebly just being a nice guy and brought her home (maybe because she asked). Alot of girls feel more safe when they're with a guy rather then alone in the dark. That said guy doesn't have to mean anything to her. She just needs to know he won't go raping her on the way home and it's cool for them.
