I'm a third year in college and I discovered "The Game" in summer (so it's been half a year). Since then, I've read "Rules of the Game", "The Venusian Artist's Handbook" (Mystery) and other miscellaneous stuff.
I've also watched the entirety of that 10 hour session Style recorded with the five AFCs. The one with guest stars Steve P, Hypnotica, and Mystery. It was awesome.
Anyway...
I've used some of the lines that Style and Mystery taught us and they seem to work well with a certain group of people, but I have trouble being consistent (it's hit or miss with me).
Anyone got any tips to have consistent hits? =)
I look forward to meeting you all and learning how to use the force. ^^

Second, if you're looking for consistency with any type of set (mixed set, 2 set, 3 set, moving targets, etc), practice is key. Approaching and opening is what worked for me when i started. When you get more confident (or if your already are) throw in routines, jokes, stories, kino routines, DHV routines, etc. One problem i had when starting of was my inability to use routines as apart of my pick ups. As a result i never got consistency with my pick up attempts. Out of anything, i believe that you would get better consistency if you use routines, tricks, and gambits. Check out the routines section in this forum. Nice post!
Cheers~!
