So New Years is coming up and this is the first year that I can legally get into the bars for the big event. I plan to make this night my first attempt at pickup after learning about the PUA community. Over the holidays I greatly changed my looks and style and on the first night I went out to hang with friends I kept getting told by my friends girls where staring at me which is a good thing. So now that I’m confident with my new look I’m getting very nervous with New Years coming up fast. I’ve been studying material and watching videos but it’s getting overwhelming. I think I'll freeze when I actually get into the bar. Are there any tips you guys can give me to try and make things more smoothly. Also I don't really know how to dance and I'm going to a dance bar, any tips there also. Thanks allot guys and I'm so glad I stumbled upon the community.

Well the best trick is really the three seconds rule. You don't think, you just do it, you approach the girl. It's the same than jumping in parachute, if you think too much, you'll just choke. Personally, i'm still an AFC, but that's something i'm proud of, i don't choke. For the dancing, well just have fun, you know, it doesn't matter if it's totally ridiculous, as long as you seem to have fun, girls will notice you and they will be easier to approach.

Welcome to the fraternity of allowable drinkers(lol). Do not drink too much in set nor while sarging-may fuck you up.

You definitely have approach anxiety at thought of approaching some hot babe in a bar.You'd have to stomp out that AA if you want to be successful.

So,view pick up as a normal task,part of life-no big deal.Your 1st. approach next year should be done care free. Dont give a shit whether you fail,get rejected or not. Just chat your ass off!!! Have canned routines if thats your route.

Remember,treat the pick up as though its no big deal;you're not after anything. No goals,no ulterior motives,no # closing. Whenever you have goals in your head(at this stage of game for you-the rookie stage),you're most likely to blind yourself. So when chatting up a chicc,remind yourself that you want nothing[on your first few outtings]but to chat your ass off.

I'm in the same boat as you man, I just started into all of this last week after a completely confusing second date. Tomorrow night I plan on just approaching women, I'm good at talking so I figure I'll go with something like "Hey, I saw you from across the bar and I just had to come introduce myself, I'm John and in my esteemed opinion somebody as stunning as yourself has no business sitting around looking lonely." Maybe throw in some quick conversation, a few observational jokes, a neg or two, and then say well "I'm going to rejoin my friends, you're more than welcome to come along." I figure I've spent long enough holding back and it's time to jump headfirst, hoping to hack into my AA by the end of the night, and maybe get a number or two; maybe even a K close if I play my cards right. I'll be going with a few good friends so the wing man problem should be no big deal. The girl from the second date might come though lol, either way should be a good night. I'm just looking forward to it, remain confident and go out to good time and that's what you'll get right?

What's wrong with your approach-the typical approach is that you're already coming in complimenting the target when she doesnt deserve it yet. For all you know,she can be a snobby-ass witch!!!

Haha true, I ended up just going to a party at a friends house. Ended up just bsing with a HB 8, escalated some mild kino and a few negs thrown in with the cocky-funny conversation got me a number. I'm still ironing out my AFC tendencies lol. I appreciate your frankness, I have a bad tendency to pull out that bullshit when I plan out my game.
