This opener sounds pretty mood killer to me.
If you go there and they were having fun before you entered the set than... please.. make your own assumptions how the night is going to end.

Rising the energy level ( / SPAM ) or even keeping it same, is far more better than turning it into negative.

IMO this will only lead you into trouble and aint something that would benefit you in the long run.
