I managed to successfully invite 2 different HB6.5 to a New Year's party. Obviously, taking both of them at the same time would not be that easy, so I need to turn one down now. I'm a bit of a noob at the moment, so I came here for your advice - how would I do that, without causing too much damage to the girl I'm turning down?

I know I could just a lame excuse of being ill or having something important to do, but I suppose the whole thing will come out on facebook or somewhere, eventually, so I'd rather not do that. I know she won't be at the party if I don't go with her, though.

I don't see why you feel the need to hurt someone's feelings.

Why would you invite two girls knowing it'd be difficult to the point where you have to ditch one?

Are you trying to rid of one all together or just for this one event? If you want to keep her around, tell her you had a change of plans but a different day would be perfect. No need to hurt feelings here - things happen.

Just for this event.

Either way you play it she's probably going to get hurt in some way or another. My best idea is to tell one of them something along these lines "An ex of mine decided that she wanted to come to the party anyways, and if you feel that would be awkward I won't blame you for not wanting to come"

Don't make up some excuse about being sick or canceling the party, its New Years, she will see right through that.

Honestly I would just invite both, as long as there will be LOTS of people there AND they don't know each other, and then just play it.(that's if its YOUR party)

If you're going to a party and taking them....then that's a different story. Do you know them well? or are they just some HB's you gamed and have hung out with a little bit. If it's the latter, bring a male friend and invite both girls.
