I have a couple of quick questions. I have no problem chatting up girls- with the right kind of girl its actually very easy. The issue I have is finding the right kind of girl. I like really clever girls, and they tend to be tomboys. Often the Cambridge uni type (no, I didn't go there!). In situations we these kinds of people I feel naturally at ease and everything is easy.

I live in central London and there are quite a number of bars outside. Most of them are filled with the wrong kind of girls- they're all thick as ****, they aren't particularly interested in me and I'm even less interested in them (sure, they're hot but after about 30 seconds of 'chat' my mind wanders).

I wanted to ask, does anybody else have this kind of problem? What were your solutions?

Yea it happens, I tend to check and think about what they have to offer. Even the beautiful ones, I admit can be boring. Solution?? Move on to a new one. I always have the word perseverance cemented into my head. Lots of better fish in the sea. Good luck bro.

I have the same inclination: I get really turned on by sharp-witted girls. My first recommendation is to embrace your preference, not view it the way you described, as a "problem." You're clearly already on the right track, recognizing what you like and being unwilling to settle for girls who aren't brainy. Perhaps you've already considered this, but my second recommendation is to seek out places that are more likely to have a higher concentration of the girls you're after. For you, target-rich venues might be bookstores, museums and galleries, art-house theatres, and concert halls, so check out readings, exhibition openings, independent-film screenings, and classical-music performances. This happens to me too. Even when you are gaming a girl they can get boring and just seem plain moronic. The only way you can cope with it is think of her as a game and hope that you run into the type of girl that can actually give you a stimulating conversation.
