I wanted to get good on the dance floor in a club. What dance is the best to learn for that? I was thinking Salsa

Salsa is a good idea

I recommend hip hop, because it can be used for dance floor game, esp. if you dance by your self.

Girls get quite excited when you lead them well and use "push and pull". However it's not so easy to learn.

In general: most dance styles will help you to get better at dace floor game, because with training the body movements get more quality and seem more natural.

Try tecktonik!! (that's how we call it in montreal, but i'm not sure it's called the same everywhere) It's really easy to learn, see on youtube how to tecktonik part 1, 2 and 3 and you can get good very quickly. But still, i don't think the most important is how you dance, its to have fun. Even if you're bad, if you seem to have fun, girls will notice you!!!

You may want to introduce a little Michael Jackson into your dance act. It's not too hard and his moves are as smooth as it gets (moonwalking) :)
