I know its a no no to approach a girl from behind, so how do I properly approach a girl that walks by me in the mall withou startling her?

Well if it was me, I will approach her to the side. then ask for directions of a store in the mall and then have her show it/guide you to the location. You can pick up from there pretty easily.

I tried this and it works, just make sure you add hand gestures when you stop them, so they know you want to ask something. Also go to different malls and be aware of your surroundings. (like asking for a store that is right behind you is retarded, I know I did that before haha)

You could just go in direct and approach from the side. I did see a youtube video of AFCAdam turning right around and following a girl from a distance and ask her a question. The thing about being in a mall is that many girls sometimes don't get approached as they would in a bar or a club. So have something interesting to say about her and go from there. If you ask her where a store is located, alot of people use common sense and say oh their is a map you can look at, so I wouldnt go asking that question.

Doesn't that sound like a good idea? like you have some item you drop it on the ground as she passes by and shout to her " you dropped something!" she'll respond: "it's not mine" , and you can try to come up with something , like you answer: "but wait it must be yours , you are so predictable that I can see it through you" , she'll probably answer: oh really and why is that? and think up something like " your eyes looked to the left/top left , I heard some voice tone changes..

btw another idea is to use any of her clothing and say like "OMG this shirt is so awesome where did you buy it?" she'll answer : "here in mall/or any shop" you say "Im definately buying one of those for my sisters birthday" im very new to this PUA stuff but im trying the best I can
