Why would a woman lie about having a child when she doesnt

woman told my friend in casual conversation non pickup that she has 2 year old,i know for a fact from someone else who knows her very well that she definately hasnt and never had a child-she doesnt know me or that i know these people at all--whats the story is she a nutjob,walter mitty is there any reason at all--oh and i should add there deffo hasnt been any miscarriages or abortions at all---why would someone lie about something like that

I think it is a shit test. It seems like she is testing the response of the guy when introducing a child.

Well either way it doesn't matter as much, you can use it on her next time you meet her.

I'd probably say this:

"Choice shows a lot about someone, tell me...did you make a good decision having a child? because I don't like being involved with someone who makes poor choices."

or

"A child lies to get out of problems, but it applies as well to adults, what do you think? is it true?"

or

"What his/her name? It would be nice to meet him"

(I really have no experience in this situation so, try it haha)

strange thing about the case in hand is that my friend should really not have been shit tested-- balding ,pot bellied,mid 40s happily married with children,loyal husband friendly to women but doesnt flirt settled in happy middle age a bit like Norman Clegg in last of the summer wine--where she was 25ish and barby dollish why would she shit test him

One last thing I could think of is an ego boost, and she enjoys doing those kind of things.

Women don't make sense. We need to make sense. We should just accept it.

Yeah they do think differently--but you know that thing they say that they dont have logic and they dont know what they want---i think that is just one of their numerous cop outs--in general i think they know EXACTLY what they want they just go about it in a really really weird way

True, but that's what a PUA do, doing things that doesn't make sense that makes sense to her. It seriously is confusing. lol

That seems so weird to me--if she was intersted in the guy, and hoped that something would develop, why lie about something that you so obviously will be called out on later? You can't have an imaginary child. Second, would having a child make woman more attractive? Maybe she was trying to do the opposite--maybe she just wasn't interested in the guy and rather than just say that she was trying to make herself unattractive so he'd move on to someone else?

I'm not a big fan of the unsustainable lie (or the sustainable one for that matter).
