Alright clearly there is a fine line between ethical and unethical conversation. But here goes. Walk up and say that you two appear to be "special" girls. Then proceed with a question that you want a women's take on. I need to know if it's wrong for a couple to have an abortion when the doctor say's that the baby appears to have been diagnosed with autism/down syndrome? I say it's unethical regardless but wait to hear them out. I feel like most girls would have some sort of opinion on this. Anyways I would like some tips or advice before I personally field test this one. Thanks!

don't use creepy openers ...you ask questions like those to friends, you don't ask shit like that to strangers.

you open her or do a convo .. do you know what woman think ?

when you talk about someone or something they always unconciously think your talking about yourself.

i think you get the point

dude this opener just seems like fail. You could say a lot crazy things for openers but this is just plain crazy. Yeah, any opener depends on HOW ITS DELIVERED, but this is just crossing the line.

Yeah thank god I didn't field test this one yet. I am just looking for something that women would have a strong opinion about. I guess it reiterates the idea that you should never bring up politics, or religion with strangers. Looks like I'm back to the drawing board.

its too serious.. girls don't like serious things.. especially at clubs/bars... try openers about guys wearing make up orsomething.. something that they'll laugh about..

Typically I try to avoid openers that deal with the following:

1. Politics
2. Religion
3. Money
4. Sex
5. Very controversial issues like Abortion.

You don't know the person you are trying to open with, so if you start with an opener that is controversial or any of the above items I listed, you could immediately be on her shit-list depending on her views.

So don't do it.

Best,

J-Dub

no no no no no!!! dont get all serious and in a debate with people. If you want to ask them a question that will get them thinking, ask "if you could be any character from Hey Arnold (or any other old school nickelodeon show) who would you be?"

Yeah now I know that its a terrible idea. I had a hunch that's why I asked the group before field testing it.

I have problems with the politics --im apolitical but in the pubs where the rule is no religion and politics--nothing else seems to be talked about.

I thing divisive storys particularly politics should be avoided as you are shortening rather than broadening your prospects

say in USA if you go strongly anti or pro---Democrat or Republican youve just wiped out your potential with almost 50% of the women there

Same with UK---Labour / Conservative

Ireland Fianna Fail / Fine Gael

why not be everyones friend

I think this is an awesome idea and a great way to build social proof.

You should do it.

A lot.

You can do a study to find out how many girls, as a percentage, in the club have actually had an abortion and proceed to attack you.

----

I'd say avoid Marrage and kids as a rule. Too many potentially volitile emotions, none of which work in your favour. For every lay you'll end up ruining 5 girls nights. Every other topic is fair game. (They taught on bootcamp that religion is another no-go....I've actually did 'get lucky' as an AFC when some preachy little catholic girl was lecturing us in the queue for a club and I called out her bullshit - I think in that case she was on some level actively looking for a guy to be 'alpha' enough to disagree with her though. Defenitely tread carefully at the very least.)

my friend used "i need your opinion, is it really cheating if you dont get caught" after the groups were opened up, each time the body language would change, they would just go cold, turn their bodies away, even start ignoring him.

Stay off the taboo subjects
