I think so. You can always be a gentleman, even while throwing out a neg as long as it's done the right way. I know this is gonna sound gay, but suck it up and watch an episode of Sex in the City with Big. Be Big. Big is a good role model. Always be a gentleman, but always keep the upper hand.

I'll put it like this-you can be a nice guy but with a bad boy touch. Be a bad boy with a touch of niceness. But to be strictly 1, would fucc you either way. But a bad boy showing nice qualities at times would be more tolerable to a woman than a nice guy showing bad-boy qualities-since he(the nice guy)may have congruency issues.

For noobies the nice guy is often confused with the good guy. The nice guy will constantly explicit AFC behavior by supplicating and always agreeing to what the girl says and jumps through every hoop that target sets up for him. Generally a nice guy is a girls doormat and servant that will never get a lot of action because of that.

The good guy is good but he does not demonstrate the negative characteristics that the nice guy has. A good guy has standards and a strong frame which makes him just as desirable to women as a bad guy.

bloodMuffin has a great point. But to the guy that says he's a nice guy but he doesnt let people run over him. Get this,we equate nice guys with wussies or doormats for women. If you dont let women use you and run all over you,then its safe to say that you are not a nice guy in the seduction-community sense.

Of course you can! God, I can't stand how being a PUA has this jerk bad-boy asshole cocky funny connotation attached to it. This isn't what being a PUA is about. I think PUA got this connection through the use of negs and bringing down the girl's defense system while remaining nonchalant and not openly showing interest. That is the point of these tactics - not to just be a complete douche bag.

So, yes, you can be a nice guy. BUT - only a nice guy in the literal meaning, not the traditional sense of what you think a nice guy is. The AFC nice guy is clingy and tries too hard to get people to like him. He is prone to oneitis and will do anything to get a girl to like him, using social conditioning usually. He'll attract attention by feeling sorry for himself and bringing sympathy from the girls to try and get laid. You know what I'm talking about though.

What is a PUA nice guy? He has common courtesy, but doesn't go out of his way to please other people. If hes opening a door and someone's behind him, he'll hold the door. If hes walking out a door and someone's like 30 feet back, its just awkward to stand there holding the door for that long.

See, there is a difference between trying hard to please people and pleasing others while pleasing yourself.

Like k-loc said, don't let the girl run all over you. Don't be a doormat, don't let the girl wipe her feet on you just so you can look up her skirt. Be confident, be strong willed, know who you are, and don't go out of your way to please others.

If being a nice guy is something that is related to your persona than instead of trying to shut those traits down, try to benefit from sharpening them. Dont try to be something you are not. Use those traits, values and morals to tailor a game which makes you comfortable/ fluent enough to operate like a water in a river.
