Lessons learnt / TL;DR:
- Don't show the obsticle disinterest early in the game. Probably build comfort on her first before you pull a switch-a-roo.
- Neutralising the AMOG works like shit in clubs with loud music.
- Direct game works better than indirect in clubs, where the loudness prohibits conversation. Sadly girls are ultra-defensive and cockblocks each other, so hitrates are lower.
- Time constraints. Time constraints. Time constraints.
Rayzhur,
Good job getting out there and practing. There is a lot to be learned from your interactions. I think you have some good points up there, some of which I'll expand on and some others that I'll point out.
First you said don't show disinterest in the obstacle too early. The idea you are going for here is you are gaming every single girl in that group. You want them all to feel some attraction for you. You are going to kino them all and talk to them all. It just so happens you are going to give more attention to your target. We need all of them to like you so that you aren't cock blocked and given compliance later when you want to isolate. They will all like you but it just so happens that your target is going to "win" you so to speak.
Neutralizing the AMOG...I could go on for a long time about this but I'm going to tell you something that could make your life a lot simpler if you use it. "Ignore anything that doesn't help you get the girl." This includes AMOGs, cockblocks, other puas, bad wings, ANYTHING! Don't worry about disarming him just focus on the girl like he doesn't matter and treat him like he doesn't exist, because he doesn't matter.
I agree that I like using direct game in clubs. However, you are going to have to learn to deal with the noise. I know many of you new guys complain about how loud it is but believe me the more time you spend in there its not as bad as you think it is at first, you get use to it. I've spend enough years in all kinds of clubs to know it's still possible. When in doubt open the group and move the group to a quieter area later.
Interruptions from girls in the set and people outside the set. Remember after you open you need to lock in. This is essential because to others looking over it appears you are part of the set and belong amoungest the group. It's obvious when you are standing outside the group talking to them you aren't with them. You locking in early after your opener is going to help you a lot!
You mentioned a few times of trolling around. This is not the best idea. As if its not obvious enough you are hitting on women now we are like sharks circling the smell of blood in the water walking around a club. Its a great way to kill a venue to you. You need to open and talk to everyone in the club. This is a great way to DHV yourself and get better socially. Just don't spend as much time on sets you don't like. When you troll around girls aren't thinking "Oh he's just doing laps for exercise." they know what you are up to.
As far as approach #1 goes, great job! Just pick a target and stick with it. Switching targets can be complicated and only advisable if you find out your target has a boyfriend or something like that.
Walking into a set with a wingman. This can also send off alarm bells with women. It worked in this case but typically it's best for one of you to open. Then the other guy to show up about 5 minutes later or so, after you are locked in to set.
I'm not trying to tear your field report apart, but just want to give you some extra stuff to think about for while you are in set. I have spent a lot of time doing night game in loud clubs and bars that are packed with people. I have a good idea what works. With that in mind you did a lot of things right out there, so keep it up!
