So I tried day game for the very first time and went direct with it. I'm not really into day game, never tried it before and have not taken anywhere near the same level of interest compared with night/club game.

So let me tell you what happened. I was in the market looking for a carryall bag (on a side note I'm heading to LA in a few days so any recommendations would be appreciated) and I spot this hb 7 at stall close to where I am. For about a minute I'm thinking of reason's not to go speak to her:

1)I'm eating it wouldn't look cool
2)What shall I say??
3)She looks like she's leaving the stall “ah she's going now anyway”.

Then I just think fuck it I'm doing it right now. I put my food away, had a sip of water and was ready to go direct on this lady. Somewhere on the way I lose my pure mindedness to opener and spend like 10 seconds pretending to look at the stall's items. The she opens me!

HB: “How much is this?”
Me: “I don't actually work here”
HB: “Ah, sorry”
Me: “I actually came over to speak to you. I saw you from over there and thought you were cute, so I wanted to say hi”
HB: “Ah thanks”
Me: “I'm Rav, do you have a name?”

'Do you have a name' is the biggest AFC line I've said in a long while!!

Then the actual stall owner comes over and starts talking to her asking if she wants to buy the item, she turns her back and I leave.

I know it sounds like it didn't go that badly but it did it. My body language showed nervousness, my tone of voice had NO authority in it and she gave an awkward smile when she replied with 'ah thanks'. It was a prime example of 'It's not what you say, it's how you say it' and I said it pretty damn badly. Maybe I should have stayed and played it out but walking away from the situation I was just glad (and laughing too myself) I didn't let the excuses win and end up not talking to her.

Comparing with my night game if funny, for me anyway. Night game I'm comfortable opening, those doubts and excuses not to go over still come into my mind at times but they would rarely stop me from going over and opening. My body language in clubs and bars is a relaxed, fun and even a dominant one. Basically my whole persona in night game is totally different to this experience.

Bringing my day game up to the level of my night game is something I will definitely be working on now though. I know I failed big time with my nervous body language but that's only going to improve with me putting myself more out there during the day. I think I'll start with just talking to more people about random shit and work my way up rather going straight direct, although it was fun thinking 'at least I did it'.

So that's it, my first failed day attempt. I'm determined to be able to be in a situation where I can write about my first successful day attempt, so look out for that in the future. Thanks for reading, feel free to post any thoughts.

Looks like you have a fair idea on the areas you need to work on which is defnately a posative you can take out of this, as you can now strengthen those parts of your game.
