Once the day after, and once two days later. I ended up leaving her a text after the second call. I don't think that's too over the top.

Maybe...but remember, you've not even spoken to her AT ALL...She doesn't know you.. Then some random unknown number shows on her phone, she'll be thinking OMG it's might be that guy...He's calling me... what do I talk about, I know fuck all about him...This is awkward...Let's just ignore it...Why didn't he text me?
That's A LOT of times with no reply. It reminds me of that infamous scene in Swingers where Mike keeps leaving a voicemail on some girl's answer machine.

I know you didn't plan to call her so many times...unfortunately it was just the dynamics of the situation which resulted in this.


Don't get me wrong, calling is important, but down the line ONCE you've gotten to know her. A simple text message, sent THAT evening would have eliminated so many issues here that are unresolvable now.

But this is all good. It's a learning curve. Keep it up...keep it right up.
