I was wondering if dancing with a girl and everyone is looking can increase or decrease your social value. Last week end I danced with a girl I didn't know. I saw one of my girlfriends (she was looking at me when I was with the other girl).

After the dance, I asked my friend to join me on the stage and she said no. Before, she always comes first to dance with me on the stage but not this time. Why?? I thought dancing with a girl and everyone is looking can only help me... :?

As long as it comes across as you're not trying to get anything from her then of course it increases your value. It's preselection.

Of course if everybody is watching you "dance" with a girl and you're acting like a needy desperate bastard then it's going to destroy your value.

The reason your friend would not dance with you afterwards is that she felt jealous and way trying to punish you. This is a good thing and a major IOI in my opinion. You should have just not reacted, continued having fun with other people in the venue and she would have undoubtedly been back to you later.

As everyone else said, dancing is a DHV.

I agree with all the above.
Dancing with another girl will suddenly make you visible to all people in the venue.
Which is good and definetly increases your social value pal =)

I was out last week as a wing for my buddy as there is this girl he's been trying to get with and it was her birthday. We met them in the club, had a few drinks and end up going to the dance floor. There were like 5 chicks and me and my friend all dancing together. It wasn't dirty, neither was it sexual it was just having fun dancing.

Now me and my friend being who we are took note of all the hotties around us. I shit you not I have not had soo many chicks look over with smiles and making eye contact. My friend told me that one of the girls had a thing for me and so I didn't pursue any of these IOI's and instead went for her (I ended up spending the night with her so good call).

There was a period of the night were me and my friend left the girls for a little while. For the most part we were at the bar getting drinks, talking to people but for a short while we went on the dance. Those IOI's we were getting about 1 or 2 hours before, they weren't there anymore.

So like everyone else has said, dancing with a girl and having fun doing it is a huge DHV.
