On the bus on the way home I was thinking: I haven't done anything memorable in the past year. Maybe more than a year, I can't remember.

At the moment I live a pretty boring life. Sure I'm thankful for what I have and I'm not complaining about the luxury I live in compared to those who are less fortunate and blah blah blah and all that stuff, but seriously: my life right now is dull.

It occurred to me today the significance of every single day. There will never be a December 2nd, 2009 again. Ever. This day is gone and will never repeat in the future of time; its over, and what was done is done. Sure there will be a December 2nd 2010, and 11, and 12, (and hopefully 13 lol if you believe all of that 2012 shit). But only around 80 more in my life. And thats if I'm lucky.

Look, my point is, I'm just sailing through right now, kinda passing by things and observing. Thats what I'm doing - sittin there with a pair of binoculars just watching the birds. And there is no fun in that, no fulfillment in that, no purpose to that.

I need to do something about this. Obviously you can't do something completely memorable and incredible every single day, for financial reasons, or other reasons that prevent you from doing these things; but the small things that challenge you matter equally. This is where it ties into pickup. The approaches you make, the openers and routines you use, the mistakes, the failed attempts, the first-tries; all of these may not be individually remembered in the next year, or two, or three, or more. But you will remember the confidence you made from this. You will remember the girlfriend you got from taking a chance. You will remember the great night you had, the amazing feeling you got, how you touched the sky. These small challenges are the things that make us stop bird-watching and learn to fly.

Did you do something memorable today?
Think about it.

I'm in the same fucking position as yours. In my opinion, I think I have a lot of knowledge, but I never used for picking up. I only use it with girls I already know.
Something is stopping me from doing this, and until now, I couldn't get over it. Maybe because I didn't see that girl I'm looking for. I really dont get it - I'm not shy or anything like that.

Since I entered in this community (2007), I hadn't had any girlfriend and not because I couldn't get one. And I only have 16. Although it's funny to know that in the past, when I even didn't know what HB meant, I had like 4/5 girlfriend in 2 years lol.
I think I need something to inspire me and I can't find what.

Cheers to the guy who created this thread, good post there.

This is what can really bring out some amazing PU. Imagine, just imagine, one day, all of this, everything, it will all be gone.

How do you want to remember your life? Everyone has some life defining moments, which are moments where we really went out of the average, out of the expected, and something amazing happened.

I will use this thread as inspiration. I will talk with all the HBs that I've always wanted to and I will do this like a living PUA god, and I will remember me being deciding to do something that no one ventured to do.

Be the AMOG.
