Ok, so I ran into a girl I've had my eye on since elementary school. I was shopping for thanksgiving dinner and was overdressed (slacks and nice shirt for meeting relatives). As I was walking out I ran into her and her mom. We chitchatted a bit, I DHV'd by saying I was working on dinner, and asked for her number. Thing is I think on some level she may have felt obligated to do so since her mom was right there.

So I'm wondering what should I do at this point. I'm leaving the city on saturday(sunday at the latest), for college. She's here for a couple of weeks (after new years maybe?).
Should I get her to add me on facebook? I've looked for her in the past and I think she has a profile that doesn't come up in search results.
Should I try to get a date before I leave?
And should I try to talk to her once a month thereafter or only when I'm back in the city?

on friday(the day after I got her number) I sent the message "is it wrong to hate turkey?" I tried it out first on two girls and got ok responses, shot the shit with them.
She replied:"hahaaah. No but didn't you make yours?"
me:"yeah but that didn't stop everyone else from sending more of the stuff my way. I've taken naps in three houses, might do a fourth :-S"
And she didn't follow up. The last reply demonstrates that I know alot of ppl/family and did things all day.

I left today and sent her this message:"I'm leaving. Shame we couldn't catch up. you seem to be stalking me " to which she didn't reply.
I'm really shooken up by this last message, that's one of the most solid texts I have ever sent because it does seem like I run into her EVERY time I'm back home. But then again she's working as a bartender and I think she's getting attention from tons of guys nowadays. Any advice on how to game her in this situation?
