I've been dating a short girl I really like for a couple months. We've never talked about other people or exclusivity, we see each other once, maybe twice a week. I was getting oneitis, and I suspect I like her more than she likes me, so I backed off and started sleeping around with lots of girls.

ANYWAY, one of those other girls gave me a hickey, and I have a date with my short girl tomorrow.

What should I say about it? Anything? I have no idea how she's going to feel upon seeing this damn thing.

I really like the short girl. I'm not ready to have the exclusivity talk, I'm worried she'd be scared off by it, but I'm also worried she'll be upset about the hickey. I guess we'll be forced to talk about it tomorrow.

I don't know how to play this off. Should I:

A) Be apologetic
B) Act like it's no big deal
C) Assure her that she's more special
D) Cancel the date until the hickey disappears (It's a bad one, 1 week+ easy)

Simple answer if you like this girl and you want to date her exclusivity then stop sleeping around with other girls. However you want to sleep with other girls don't keep her on the side as a back up. Either way you have to be honest with her.

IF she brings it up then say " yea i was with another girl" n act like it no big deal coz IT ISN'T! UNLESS u are actually going out with this girl but other than that it shouldnt be a problem. Its actually a good DHV.

If you actually care about the girl then it's time to either say you're going to be exclusive with her and stick to it, OR explain the rules to her, i.e. that you're not the type that's going to be exclusive and if she's cool with that then it's time to have some fun, but otherwise if she's gonna get jealous and stuff then maybe it's time to break things off / just be friends before things get too serious and one of you gets hurt.

DON'T cancel or be apologetic. DO act like it's no big deal (if it even comes up). If you really think she is special, why not tell her?
