So one of the areas I've been working on lately is amogging. Sure it's easy to just ignore them but what's the fun in that? Basically I went into this set with this douche bag amog in it and he started to try and tool me. I was ignoring him for the most part but he eventually got on my nerves. So I looked over my shoulder at him and looked back at the girls and pointed my thumb at him and said, "ok guys, we gotta sign this kid up for the next season of the tool academy," and all the girls just started busting up laughing and blew him out of set. The guy came up to me later and was all nice to me lol. I like that amog line. Try it out and lemme know how it works for you.

"alright, if everyone could take a moment to note the way [AMOG] acts around competition.... ok thank you." then continue with the conversation

"Okay man, they get it. You're cool and you make fun of people that are a threat to you." carry on normally

"alright man, we get it. you're trying to make fun of me but you know u wouldnt do it if it werent for these girls."

kinda new to PU but one of the things i've been toying with most is amoging, and its really very satisfying. I'm working on some patterns to sort of frustrate the amog by ruining his train of thought, and redirecting conversation anytime he tries to take it over. once they become frustrated and confused, it will eventually be evident to the group, and the amog will lose his status.

try it out, work a set of a few people, let an amog enter and gain his bearing, then pull it out from under him.
