Haven't tested it but I need your guys' opinions.

Today for about 70 dollar I bought myself a DIY wine-kit.
It contains a 25L bottle, water-lock (just a small lab-techy-part on top)..
one package of wine-requirements. (about 20 dollar to produce 25L of wine!!!)
sugar.

It's simple as hell, takes one week and you should get nice wine (I test it and get back on this in a week from tomorrow LOL!)

Anyway. You can also buy small bottles. Like enough for one glass. They cost 1 buck or so.

My idea:
Take some bottles with you, give one and tell her to drink it at a special occasion, put your name and nr on the label and tell her you got more bla bla. Do some other routines.
She will remember you because of that. Just like Mystery's *or was it Style???* trick with cheap rings "It means a lot to me, next time I see you I want it back". Believe it was Style's. ANYWAY.

When she comes to your place after some calls, she asks how you make it. Of course you show it (its a nice IOI) and the coinsidence is that it's located in your bedroom. *When you go to bed, the bubbles give you a calm feeling*.

You lay down on the bed, drink some wines.. have her trying several wines from weird bottles and ask which one she likes...

Then go over to other routines to actually do your thang.

Opinions?! Will test it ASAP!!! :D

To get these products: I got it from a local store specializing into DIY drinks, cheese, yoghurt etc etc... EBAY could be your friend or look for local stores. I got it in the Netherlands at http://www.brouwmarkt.nl/ (well at their actual store) I bet they ship to Belgium and Germany too...

Opinions please! :)

Good point there. Gotta make sure it looks exquisite, something for a special moment.. Maybe use that red stuff they also used to use to seal letters... that makes it look really serious. :P

Well make sure she doesn't know anything about wine... those things are fucking murder to the palet. I mean I love wine, with a passion, and this stuff is just awfull. The best wine that can be made from kits and all will (on the BEST possible outcome) be of poorer quality then the cheepest grocery store wine (that I woudn't touch with a 10' pole).

So ya, it might be a nice little thing to do, but I woudn't expect her to "IOI on how you made it"

GL,

I second the notion that kit-wine is probably not going to taste very good. There is a reason why good wine is expensive. I do like the creative DHV you have by showing you take the inititive to make your own wine. If you had your own mini winery/brewery setup in your basement, now that would be impressive. But buying a "wine kit" to appear like a wine connoisseur is like buying a science kit and saying you're working on the cure for cancer.

If prisoners can make it out of grapes, crusts of bread, toilet water and plastic bags, how hard can it be?

Wine is hard since there are so many different quality levels of wine, and most people are able to distinguish between "good" and "bad" wine. If you want to stay in that vein of alcohol brewing, you can always make your own flavored spirits. A lot of it is just buying unflavored liquor, adding it to fruits, spices, or chili peppers, etc etc and then letting it sit for a few weeks in an air-tight container in a cool dry place. Same concept, much less work, and a better product at the end.
