After the opener, is there something to hook the group with besides magic tricks? Good stories?

This is going to sound silly, but with the right amount of force, the right playful attitude, and used correctly, this will show girls that you are not only an easy going guy, but a guy who is in touch with his inner kid and at the same time a man that doesn't let social boundaries and other people's opinions effect him.

This technique is so powerful, so earth shattering, that I shouldn't even tell you, but here I go. The key to getting along with out magic tricks is to take the girl, look in her in the eyes and slowly move your eyes to her her shoulder. When your eyes are there...say...

"oh wow, what is that on your shoulder?" and when she looks flick her nose!

I'm just kidding, there is nothing groundbreaking about this, in fact it's something we all remember from when we are kids. But I am not joking about doing this. This actually works as long as you don't come off as a jerk.

Most of the time, girls will go "haha I can't believe I fell for that!" then you can simple say, "yea you would be surprised how many of you girls i get with that"

Great segue into a story I sometimes tell :

"Yea haha, you would be suprised how many people I get with that. This one time I pointed to a girls shoulder and asked "oh my god what is that?" and she started freaking out because she thought it was a spider. She seriously threw her hands in the air and smacked my glasses off. I almost stopped doing the trick after that, but reactions like yours and hers are priceless" *insert smile*

Thanks for the reply m8. Ill give it a shot. I have another question tho. Say you have hooked the group and you are ignoring the target. Eventually they say you should neg continuously but all the negs iv read sound like starter negs (if that makes any sense) i mean if u neg 2 much. Wont that seem Judgmental?

kAtChY, dont neg. Just tease.

Negs are not important, no magic there. Its just a line like "Hey, you looking beautiful today". Usually, when you neg, you overdo it (when starting) and then you see that SHIT MAN, ITS NOTHING COOL.

I tried them, failed TOO many times. Succeeded rarely.

Recommending you to just tease, look at Cocky&Funny. Start using that and you will notice that you have became attractive person when you accept the concept of C&F as a part of your personality.

Hey Brah, I didn't mention a game. I was just joking around playing up a simple "trick".

What my post was referring to, was the old trick where you say someone has something on their shoulder, and then they look, you bring your finger up from their shoulder up to their nose and lightly flick it. Most people know this from when they were kids.

If you want to take the spider theme one step forward there is a new magic/prank app that is just awesome for bar pickups. If you search Google Play or the App store for "Magic Spider" you will find it.

It is a new presentation of Jim Pace's - The Web where a spider ends up on the back of the hand. It gets such good reactions and the girls will be laughing and talking about it for ages afterwards. It's a really goo ice breaker with an in built neg.

Have a few good jokes in your repertoire, not one-liners, the story kind of that take a minute to tell and really draw in the listener's attention.

Emphasis on "good", nothing is worse than disappointing a captivated audience.
