I have started having mild success with the material that I have been using. F-closed a fools mateHB6 (not sure if it counts as she was easy although it was my first...) and number closed another 2 girls. One of the girls I have been writing witty texts too and seem to have her hooked a little although she says she cant remember how i look when she first met me.

She does however remember what I said whcih surprises me...? It could be a shit test and I guess my AFC wants to come out if/when we meet. How do I fight it ? I recently bought a really cool cowboy hat that I'm tempted to wear and I do feel like an alpha male (even my close friends noticed at a party). I also talked to a nice girl at the same bar thought I done well but she said she was moving out in 2/3 weeks so my number close didnt work :\

Coffee shop is totally different - it's a more relaxed SPAM where you can talk to people in the queue and stuff, a lot of people are there by themselves just reading a book or whatever. A restaurant has groups all sitting down. If you go up to a seated set and ask them some opinion opener they'd be like "why has this guy come over to our table to ask us that? Is this our waiter?" If you go direct, what about the other people right there at the table? What are you gonna do, pull up a chair and just start running game? Where is the opportunity for any kind of kino escalation? Hell, running into people you KNOW at a restaurant can be an awkward social situation. The whole thing is ridiculous.

Besides. how can you say that when there are restaurants which offer things like 'table magic' and blabla, and besides, its not about that, your already assuming its a big group of people. And besides, say you are going out for a pre-drink at a restaurant to catch a bite to eat with a group of guys and then you see a table with nice pum pum you cant approach them? err how u doing and where are u guys going tonight?

I guess it depends how much balls you have. Admitedly i dont usually run game in restaurants but who says it has to be with other people sitting down, waitresses is a lot easier but again, great place to meet people.

Besides, there is already a common interest, you enjoy eating at the same restauraunt...

Guys it totally depends on the venue. If you have a chique restaurant with people who are there to discuss something... or even propose or whatever: dont go there.

If the restaurant is more crowded, more fun, relaxed, easy going etc it could work. It's not perfect but it could. I mean if you call McDonnalds a restaurant: there you can easily pull it off.

It depends on the kind of people that go there.

But a coffeeshop/bar or club will mostly be easier...

Blondguy it seems like you have a limiting mind . When im learning this I want to be able to pickup anywhere and a restaurant is one of those places! The restaurant is a more relaxed place and it is why I mentioned it. No need to be rude

i've been too busy to post on these forums recently because the general PUA material has me f-closing HB9 and 10ss 4-5 nights a week now, but I'm going to just generally agree with Blondguy here sarging a typical restaurant with a waiter is kind of silly. That of course does not apply to coffee shops or fast food joints, where you could just walk up to people and use pretty much the same openers/routines etc. as anywhere else.
