I Just went out with a girl and at the end of the date I always ask them if I need to drive/walk with them to their house. Most of the time they say: 'It's not necesarry'

Is this an IOD or are they just polied, or is their a different reason. How should I handle this?

My guess is: You don't ask. You suggest. In stead of asking "Do you want me to take you home?" You should say: "You know what, why won't you let me take you home." Or in Dutch: "Weet je wat, anders breng ik je wel naar huis?" -this way she'll be more likely to say "sure" or "okay". Because you partially already chose for her.
