| When a girl that you like calls, don’t answer and call back later. Even if you call right back it makes her think you are busy (whether you are or not). When you call back it makes her want you more. If you have to answer, wait a few rings so it doesn’t seem like you are waiting by the phone.

I wait 2-3 days before I call to make her wonder but not seem too urgent or hesitant.
I noticed some people throw a text day of the number close, depending on the girl and situation this works, anything funny would get the job done (ex. You remind me of…) or anything of the sort.
I usually call on a weeknight as well as make plans to meet for a first date on a weeknight.
I don’t think the time that you call matters too much as long is it isn’t too early or late.

Call a friend before and get into the talking mood.
Know what you want to achieve with the conversation (Smalltalk, ask for a date, etc.)
I like to call while I’m doing something else, such as driving, so my mind isn’t too focused on it and I speak naturally.
Make sure when you are talking to her you are loud, clear, and there is excitement in your voice. It helps me to smile while I talk. Telling a joke or funny story is a good idea add some cocky funny in there if you can. I always say “hey this is Nick” the first couple times I call.

(like second time calling, met her at school never met outside of school but the week before at school I said “we should hang out some time“)
HB: hello
Brick: hey its nick from class.
HB: oh hey how are you?
Brick: I’m good, do you have plans for tonight?
HB: I’m at work until 6.
Brick: Ok, when you get off I’m going to come pick you up and we will hang out… (cocky funny)
HB: (giggled) I have to get dinner with family after that
Brick: Ok well ill let you get back to work, why don’t you give me a call when your through with that then we can meet up.
We went out that night.
Use false time constraints on the phone sometimes too so she doesn’t think its going to last a while and say something so she thinks you are busy. Like “hey I can only talk for a sec I’ve got to….”
Try avoiding asking the typical questions like “what are you up to?” if you can.
Some good lines I have used are…

Brick: I’m going to a party with a couple friends if you want to join…
HB: Id love to but I look like crap
Brick: girl, a 10 in a bad day is better than a 9 on a good day.
HB: I’m on my way.
Worked like a charm. I talked to her on the phone about it before and she said maybe..
Now whenever a girl says maybe on the phone when you ask for to meet up for a date… it’s a little corny but I say well I’ve got to get going but ill keep my fingers crossed. She will laugh and then say k bye and fallow up later. Usually works.

and depending on the situation, if i call a girl twice and get no answer or call back over a couple day period or more... I usually leave the ball in their court and delete the number. If they end up calling back then i put it back in.
