First thing first. You need to break you AA. I would advise starting with the Newbie mission (sticky thread in this section) or Stylelife 30 day challenge (you can google it easily)

Good luck!

Work on your inner game. If you're already confident, break AA. After that, it's outer game. Then discover the best style for you (natural, Mystery Method, ...)

Some great stuff to get started would be to find some friends that go out in your area. I highly recommend pickup podcast. it's a free podcast with some great information. Style has a book Called Rules of the game it's a 30day challenge designed for those getting started and it focuses on over life improvement that with help with inner and outer game. after that I would start looking into what style suits your personality best. There are a lot of big names and some are very different. But those are great bases to start from.

I agree with eveyone also learn piece by piece one step at a time meaning take

your time no rush. For example here's a pattern of the step's I take

1:open
2:DHV
3:rapport
4:emotional connection (Thanks GRkiller)
5:physical connection

I learned that from strauss,Remember take it one step at a time first learn to open once you've mastered opening then it's on to the next step and so on and
so on right now im on emotional connection. So good luck my fellow newbie and
may the game be with you.LOL

Get "Revelation" by Mystery and practice. Pratice is the only thing that will help you. If you want to get somewhere, to improve with girls - forget about reading all the stuff (and there is a LOT out there). You need one good book for the theory and then you have to try those things in the book. Don't worry, they work! They have been tested counltess times. At the beginning, you don't even eed to go to clubs - you just need to become good in human interaction in general - so talk as much as you can with different people. The newbie mission is always a good tip. It's also extremely helpful to tape yourself or one of your approaches - you will see yourself wih different eyes - that's why the "Revelation"-DVDs are priceless - Mystery, Matador and Lovedrop SHOW you exactly HOW to do it...
