Hey guys, I'm new here fresh from watching The Pickup Artist on VH1, and I have been scouring around reading loads of stuff, but because there is so much out there its so overwhelming I don't know where to begin!

I know I need to "begin" by starting to approach women, but the problem I appear to be having is that although I am understanding a lot of the concepts behind general game (such as a girl needs to be attracted to you before you can build comfort with them otherwise you end up in the friend zone), I still have no clue really how to apply these concepts in real life. Obviously I don't want to learn and rely on a lot prepared word-for-word openers and stories etc, but I need some help to start me off.

I've just moved to a new city to live with some friends, and while I've met their mixed social group and hang round with them a few times, I haven't really interacted with them (especially the girls) much - what can I do here to make myself seem desirable?

Is there perhaps bullet points of things I can be doing (i.e. sorting out an avatar etc?)

p.s. any tips for improving an avatar / image on a very tight budget (I'm UK based). The majority of my clothes are sporty clothes e.g. tracksuits and football tops plus t-shirts from Matalan (a cheap shop where t-shirts are about £3 each). If it helps, I'm 21 years old, around average height (maybe just below) and relatively good looking and socially capable, I'm just not used to being, or comfortable (which makes me freeze up), around beautiful women.

You need to stop thinking ahead and focus on the task at hand man. You can deal with all the problems when you reach that point. Welcome to the forum! I wanna give you some advice I wish I had when I started out.

Be ready to accept failure, humiliation, pain.

Dont overanalyze stuff before they actually happened. Go out there and try, analyze later.

now ditch the tracksuits and football t-shirts either in the fire, or in the bottom drawer only to come out on the day you are playing sport, or watching the game with the lads.

Tracky-B and Man Utd strips are for kids.. and chavs. and No PUA should ever be chavvy fred-perry, burrberry cap wearing scum

otherwise, (on a happier note) get yourself over to a Primark, its cheap as chips min!.. and they have improved their style over the last few months..

Get yourself some dark - good fitting (not hanging below your arse) jeans.. a large buckle belt, plain black and white t-shirts (1 quid each! its a steal) *these are undershirts*.. and them grab a few pairs of buttoned up shirts.. downward stripes make you look taller.. horizontal ones make you look bigger. (i go for vertical ones.. because im one of these "bigger" cunts.. but that doesnt stop my PUA ability..)

if you want to splash out just a little bit more.. (especially if you a thinner) TopMan, River Island and New Look (<-- its not just womes kit you know...) sell the more "in fashion" gear..

I know I mentioned it in my original post, but some bullet points would be absolutely brilliant if someone could take the time - we already have number one!

Number One Point About Approaching A Set of 3 To 5 Women...

1) Always start the set Indirectly, and also...talk to the girl with visibly less value. This will make the girl feel good, but DO NOT talk to her for long. There will come a time when the girl you're targeting will question why she isn't getting all the attention. She'll open YOU up...she'll practically jump in your lap and look for anything from you to make her feel more adequate than her friend.

Side Note...

Sometimes you'll run across a "Mother Hen", or a friend that acts like the cockblock. Best way to treat a Mother Hen, is to talk reasonably and logically with her. If she says something like "Are you trying to get with my girlfriend?" Just logically say, "That is up to her to decide, not I, and neither should you." And she'll be dealt with nicely.

Another Side Note...

If it's a set of women 5 and above...what I do, and many other PUA's...is I cut the group into two or three sections, and win each set individually. You'll win over the first girls, then they'll introduce you to the second set, and so forth. Winning over a crowd isn't all too difficult, and you should handle it in small doses.
