I've always subscribed to the "K.I.S.S. Theory" (Keep It Simple Stupid)

Even though I don't really rely on openers at all since I've never had problems continuing the conversation, I don't think their that bad. If I see a girl and don't feel like being creative, a canned opener which will get an instant conversation is a lot better for me than hi.

I think its foolish to dismiss them completely.

Openers are very effective.

It's just that "Hi" is the greatest one,because it's the only opener...THAT can be stacked to any other opener,and makes the approach 50% less awkward.

Like I said,it's MIND BOGGLING!!!The dimensional warp sector's are brimming in convulsion at this sight.

I see this around the forums a lot.. People ask what a good opener is and then everyone yells at them and says its "Hi"..

The ones that say that are not understanding the whole point of an opener! The opener is to get them engaged and thinking about something in a non-sexual way that puts their defenses down enough for you to false disqualify and work on DHVing and building attraction. Its a small distraction that lets them know your not another AFC looking to bore them.

If you go up and say Hi! and then start talking to them about awesome you are then your just another AFC and it will be harder to get passed the defenses.. Now, if your going after an HB6 or 7 then just a Hi will work because these girls are not getting hit on all the time.

I prefer to use stuff like "Hey guys! did you know, did you see, do you think, I was wondering, can you tell me.." then you transition and go into DHV story telling, joking, magic tricks or whatever it is you do in the attraction building stage..
