Looking through the newbie forum, I see a common theme in many of the topics (and even in their titles); People referring to themselves in a negative way.

So like with lots of my posts, this is interactive. Grab a piece of paper and a pen and write down all the negative ways you have referred to yourself (either on this forum, in real life or even in your head).

Now, once they are all written down (and if you didn't write them down, your only cheating yourself) I want you to follow these steps to re-write them.

1) What were you doing (or not doing) to make you feel that way? Write that down.
2)Why were you doing that (or not doing it)? Write that down.
3) Write after the first two "I am only in this situation because I am still learning, I will improve by"
4) Try to work out how to improve - e.g. asking on the forum, reading material or just opening more!
5) Give yourself an exact goal! (such as being confident to approach a woman)
5) Give yourself a deadline! Be precise, don't make it too far away (about a month)

The trick is to not make the target or task to big, if you are a virgin don't make your sentence read "I am not getting laid, because I am too nervous to approach women. I am only in this situation because I am still learning and will improve by opening every woman I see and I will be able to f-close every woman I see by next week". This isn't achievable, start by making targets that you can EASILY achieve, so you get a confidence boost from it!

Now here is a worked example:
I am a pussy!
Re-worded - "I would not kiss the girl I was talking to, because I was not sure if she wanted me to kiss her. I am only in this situation because I am still learning, I will learn by searching the PUAF for ways to tell if a woman is wanting to be kissed. I will then be confident to kiss a girl I am flirting with by the 22nd November"


Start to think of everything in a positive, things are going to get better way and see results. Be specific in what you want and keep those goals achievable!

Thought I'd throw in a worked example for ya?

OK, so when I was a kid, I had low self esteem. I was depressed over my weight, and I ate to ease the depression. Has left me with a big, bouncy, budha belly that I'm only now starting to shift. Was doing this because I was socially awkward, unhappy with family and unhappy with life.

I know now that I was only in this situation because I was still learning, I am improving by bettering my life, social circumstances, etc. I find that helping AFCs and 'regular schmo's seems to help me more than anything. I get to have fun, share the knowlege, boost my ego and use it all to get chicks. Currently, I want to teach one of my closest friends how to be uuber confident and get her approaching women I'll start this in the next week as she's expressed interest in my teaching her
