How much should i let acne affect my game? It's pretty severe and all over my face, and there's girls on my bus and in my classes i want to mac on, but should i wait until it clears up, or approach them now and see if i can somehow get to the attraction phase ( i have frozen out this one girl on my bus after talking to her on the first day of school so i can reapproach after i have clear skin. Good idea? Bad idea?)
NOTE: I have been doing everything possible to clear it up, doxycycline, drinking lots of water, washing twice a day, alcohol, bezoyl peroxide, steaming my face, eating healthy, exersising and showering afterwards, eliminating stress from my life and quitting masterbating, so if anyone else has any other tips for clear skin that would be great too

quitting masterbation? lets not go too far here!

I never had this problem, but I feel pretty strongly that it's more the strength of your game that will decide it, not how you look.

If it does bug you too much though, go down to body shop or whatever you have locally and ask them for products that will clear it up, they'll likely give you a scrub and facial wash, if those don't work, concealer or something similar may.

Keep me updated on this one.

Good to see you're already using all the supplies there are against acne.

But what's bothering you is not really your acne. It's rather what people might think of you. No offense, but you're living in a beta male mindset. You let other people dictate how you should feel and think about yourself. Go to RSD and read the strength of reality threads.

Hope it helps

dude...one of my good friends in high school was a hefty ass mutha fucka, and has the most acne ive seen on a face ever. and he pulled bitches like crazy. just like Jav said. u got that beta mindset. be ALPHA. just know and believe that you are a baller. and especially since im assuming ur in highschool cuz u said the bus, u just gotta set up a big social circle. if ur liked, by everyone and men want to be you, then the women will want you. you gotta lead the people man. if everyone has a good time around you then you will get pussy..

so you guys are basically saying if i am confident enough, the way my face appears will not even register in the girls brain? if you met a girl with fat yellow zits and scarring all over her face, would you seriously consider doing anything with her just depending on confidence? thats a little bit hard to believe but all the strength of reality articles make ALOT of sense, convey higher value and give not take value, don't let your happiness depend on others opinions and don't have limiting beliefs ( but acne isn't really a belief, its more of something i have to ignore somehow)

don't misconstrue the words, looks do help, but they aren't a major problem unless you have a problem with them.

Have you though of roaccutane? Its a pescribed tablet that worked for me. You take it for 3 months and it will clear your acne :). It has some side effects so you should read up on it first.

I know how you feel and yeah it might have an affect as i used to have some(and have a little scarring). It basically affects your own confidence more than anything and theres no harm in trying.

I had really terrible acne and red skin that I was very self-conscious about. I went out and bought some light make-up to get my confidence up. It's been a year, and my face is clearer, and I don't use the make-up anymore, and my confidence is still up as a bonus.

If you have trouble with confidence, I've found affirmations or tackling my problem head-on help. Perhaps see a skin-specialist if you're really self-conscious?

wanted to share, i know acne has a big effect on confidence. i don't have bad acne but what bothers me is it has not gone away from my teenage years, and so i went to see a laser cosmetology place for a free consultation. they said it was not bad enough to get the laser (i sort of knew this already) but they sold me a really good de-hydrator and a moisterizer and the price for those two came to $90. the doctor there also prescribed some other shit for me. it's working, but slowly. i know that caffeine is bad for my face so i don't have it anymore. it's hard because i like energy drinks, but ill only buy like organic pop with cane sugar and no caffeine.

i can also ad some tips for what causes acne.
refined sugars, high fructose corn syrop, pop like coke, pepsi, energy drinks
chocolate (very bad ! )
dairy products (meat, butter, milk cheese and red meat)
wearing a hat, sports helmet or construction hat. consider putting a bandana or something, or wash the hat with some baking soda every so often .
sweating from exercise (i know i hate this one)

these tips won't make your acne go away but will reduce it quite a bit. and, also keep you healthier.
If you pretty much avoid all these things and still have acne (like me) consider seeing a specialist.
The MB cause is a myth.

Washing helps with clogged pores but washing EXCESSIVELY causes your skin to overcompensate and produce more oil,"sweat", which is bad. Just see a dermotologist and get some prescribed meds.

Women judge ALOT less by looks than men do. They have a completely different set of priorities and attributes that they find attractive so keep that in mind for good framing.

I used to walk around with my head down and I almost never smiled and I assure you, this hurt my game infinately more than if I had acne.

A freeze out should never last as long as you plan. She'll move on unless she's very attracted to you, like stalker style attraction.

Keep your chin up bro.

what is RSD?
Real Social Dynamics. Papa and Tyler are it's founders.

and yoyoyoyo

Thinking acne is what prevents you from getting girls is a fucked up mindset.
Stop kicking yourself, embrace your condition and game on.

thanks guys, i did not expect this many people to respond. i've decided to stop giving a fuck about everybody elses opinion and not make any excuses to not do what makes me happy, i've also decided to have as much fun as i can with girls and be as confident as possible and in the past few days, the results have been a lot more positive than i would've ever thought possible. girls i thought i would've gotten rejected on the spot if i tried to talk to them have shown open body language and ioi's when i approached then with a smile on my face and showing as much confidence as i could muster. I think i will look back on this as a major turning point in my life ( i started using these ideals on monday, the day the berlin wall was smashed, i think this is very coincidental and symbolic) Thank you Jav for showing me the RSD site and everybody else who gave me advice.
