im stuck in this 3rld world country and everyone speaks this funky language I dont. While Ill of course improve my language skills ive been wondering how much you can pull off without using words.

observations or assumptions:

as soon as 2 people are attracted to each other they can connect like children ("yo quieeero chocolate!" "yo quieeero chocolate tambien!" "yoo teee quierooo!" "yo meee quieroo tambien!"), so I think the difficult part is to get enough attraction so that she WANTS to understand you(which requires more effort for her than normal), so i suspect the only part which is really more difficult or maybe just different is attraction. I cant tell you how often I have the perfect punchline I just cant word.

I find this sooo interesting.

what do you think is possible? how? what did you experience? ideas? thoughts?

Bring a pocket translator with you and I don't know if you speak any of the language but if you run out of something to say. Cutely pull out your dictionary put your finger up like wait a sec and look up how to say something ridiculous/funny or for a bonus hand her the dictionary and get see if she makes a sentence in English or something. I dunno this is a hard situation good luck. Maybe try to take a class to learn the language.
