This weekend was halloween so I thought it was the perfect occasion for peacocking. It worked very well. People didn't leave me alone; and not only women but also men didn't leave me alone. Everyone tried to talk to me. On 1 occasion however, I think I messed up ?

I was sitting alone on a bench while my 2 friends where dancing on the dance floor. While I was sitting there a good looking black haired girl came sit next to me. Suddenly her friend took a camera and she came to me and told me to make a picture together with the girl sitting next me. So I made a picture with her. Than the camera girl took took my peacocking item away and put it on the girl sitting next to me and again she made pictures of us. After this the girl stayed next to me for some 5 more minutes while her friends were dancing. I wanted to start a conversation with her but when I looked at her her facial expression was weird. First, I really thought she was interested to start a conversation because she came sit next to me and started to make pictures but when I saw her facial expression I suddenly thought the opposite. She gave me a weird look. A look like "don't you think I am interested in knowing you". So I didn't talk to her because if a woman gives such stupid signals I don't really feel like doing any effort for her. There are women enough in this world. However, when she left, my friends told me that she kept looking at me. So then I was doubting again if I should have opened her or not.

What do you guys think that happened ? Why did she give me that look ? Was that a shit test to test my confidence ? Or was she really not interested ? Which opener could I have used for this particular situation if I should have opened ?

I asks these questions in order to better understand how women work. I am not crying for having lost this 1 girl. But a thorough understanding of what happened in this interaction from a more experienced person would really help to understand women better and improve my game. It would have been much easier for me if she would only have given me IOI's instead of IOI's mixed with a heavy IOD. But maybe it is to demonstrate that she is not as easy as I might think ?

the fact that she came by sat next to you and had her friend take pictures of you guys probably meant she was somewhat intrigued. and even if she wasnt interested at first you could of made her interested. im not gonna lie to you i have no idea what her look was about but dont let that throw you off, you dont know whats going through her head until you talk to her. as far as what to open with, thats really kind of up to you
i personally dont think there is a all amazing opener that will work in every situation, it sounds to me that you could of said anything and she would of went for it.
