Last Saturday i went to a club, it wasn't specifically to sarge, I just went there to meet and old friend who I didn't see in years. Anyway, at some point, the place gets going and I go on the dancefloor. I place myself somewhat on the stairs and start dancing. Now, when I'm on the dancefloor, I just dance and have fun. At first when i placed myself, there were a couple of girls with bf, I assume (doh) and they both somewhat away, maybe thinking that I just came there to pick them up.
10-20 min pass and I was still dancing, having good fun at doing it, and suddenly these girls all come and start dancing around me, looking and smiling at me. There were another 2 who came, and started dancing all in front of me. One was quite cute and positioned herself next to me, facing the same way as me but giving me sidelooks quite often, even to a point where the guy she was with put himself between her and me. I was a bit set of by the fact that the guy was there. I didn't do anything, but in this situation, what should I have done? what would have been a good strategy?

A bit later, I was still dancing, on another spot this time. what can I say, I really like dancing on some loud techno music i turn around to ask for a light, and without doing it on purpose, I ask it to this hb8, without paying too much attention to her. I light my cigarette and continue dancing. Suddenly this girls starts dancing in front of me and around, occasionally bumping into me, more than once. Very energetic girl and the kind of girl that knows she's cute. she moved around a lot and obviously like to tease. I don't think that i was imagining this happening as other guys were looking at me with a "nice going" look. What would have been a good opening with a girl like this?

It seems i do quite well on the dancefloor to get attention, you guys have any particular strategies for these situations?

On the dancefloor you don't need to open, just start dancing with the girl. What I find works best is to catch girls looking at you, when you do lock eyes and just dance towards them and dance with them. You can pull them to sit and talk or get drinks or whatever, but you can usually escalate to kiss close without saying a word. Depending on how rowdy the club is you might be able to protect the girl from a rougher crowd, I did this a few times and girls go crazy about it (little do they know it's just a reflex and not really just for them...)
