Sparrow street games, then hits up the Empire Hotel lounge with friends and almost goes the mile with a girl.

Moral: When faced with an impassable obstacle - say a major Ice Queen - just ignore her and pretend you're in a one set.
Follow this advice and the worst that could happen is you get slapped (which is an awesome story) and you lose the set. The best that could happen is a kiss close and maybe extraction. Do not follow this advice and the best that can happen is that you lose the set. The decision is easy:

When in doubt - escalate.

Why does this advice work? If the girl is letting you kino/responding well to it, and despite all attempts to disarm the obstacle, you're still getting a cold shoulder, your target will feel just as annoyed with her friend as you are.
If you chode out and don't escalate, the girl may eventually get frustrated and impatient, which is the perfect time for your obstacle to run away with your target.

Brah, you are welcome to sarge with me anytime.

Lone Wolfing is an awesome way to learn. Sarging with company teaches you other things too, provides you the opportunity to see others at work, and can also be like Lone Wolfing with commentary. You may want to consider it.

I am not sure what you mean, Brah, by exhausting avenues though - do you mean to say you prefer to *master* Lone Wolf Pick Up before sarging with company?

I prefer to become semi-competent at the entire thing before I waste other people's time sarging with them like a loser. If I don't know how to transition from Opener to Hook point, or have too much AA to approach a HB10, then I need to figure that stuff out first before I go with others to work on my outer game.

Good rep. I'll come to new york for sure, since you've already invited me we'll rock the city together.

Brah:
Once somebody thinks your a "loser" after sarging with you at this stage, they aren't worthy of sarging with you.
Go out and sarge with persons. If your in the netherlands, you can always join me for some sarging.

@Brah: To each his own, bro. I've had a couple group sarges where I experienced massive AA. Although the night sucked in terms of my performance, most of my wingmen shared with me invaluable advice. I sort of felt like I had wasted their time, but honestly teaching other people helps to solidify one's ideas. It was still fun to hang out.
Second, certain wingmen are awesome because they know how to force you into sets. There were a couple FRs...#15,17,18 in particular...where I had major AA, but was forced or compelled to open sets precisely because I had a partner to push me (sometimes literally).

@Mr. Shade: Just say when. ;-)
