You don't "come off" as anyone, you don't want to be TRYING to be an outgoing, fun, and exciting guy who's attractive to women.
You want to BECOME an outgoing, fun, and exciting guy who's attractive to women.
This isn't a change which happens over night, it takes time and you need to be patient.

Once you've become more confident, and IF people perceive you as "fake" then you won't necessarily care because your whole frame of thinking will be different by then. You won't care what they think, you'll see yourself as you, and those who don't see or appreciate the new you will not be worthy of hanging out with you.

Well that was my approach to it and it worked to a great extent IMO.

You're coming off a stage where you still want your reality reinforced externally. Which isn't attractive.

Vizzy gave some good advice, drop the act and BE. Just do it and don't give a fuck if you get validated by others or not. You don't owe em anything.
