I've been trying quite hard with this recently with no results, and I've discovered something.

When I'm out, or see a girl I like or whatever, I think of what a player would do, and what I should say and that, but It never crosses over to actually doing it. It's as if this whole 'internet' info is separated from real life. Eg, I'll think "OK, this is what they would do, they would say this etc" but it doesn't cross over to me doing it. There's just something lacking. It doesn't feel like AA as there's no anxiety or feelings of "oh god I can't do this. Just do it!!", as if I don't even have the desire to do it. Maybe it's incredibly extreme AA to the point i'm not even considering thinking of approaching.

It's doing my head in as I think I know exactly what to do now, but never actually do it when it comes down to it. It's like this info exists in a 'fantasy ideal world' or something that's completely different to my actual life.

Does anyone get this themselves? Anyone understand where i'm coming from? What should I do?

STOP masturbating. Only do it once a week. Set a regular pattern and HOLD to it. It is your life and you have to be disipline. Stop beating it.

Try this....next time you are in a club (or wherever you go to meet girls), as soon as you feel that 'lack of desire', just approach someone for the FUN of it anyway. This will test whether AA is your problem or whether its a lack of desire for wanting to meet women (I doubt it is. Im sure you love sex just as much as any other man on this planet).

come back to this thread once you have approached 3 girls. DO IT.

Oh I'm fine with clubs, it's just in regular day to day things. I guess it's the addition of alcohol based with the fact that women are actually out to pick up too.
