Its kinda risky but you can launch a pre-emptive LJBF strike. It has worked for me before.

Say something like, its really good to have made a new friend...good to add another one to my list! (test her response). Then here comes the best part...you are now her 'friend', so you start asking her advice about another girl that youre interested in, and make out as if youve been interested in her BEFORE you even met this girl. she will then feel like you were also kinda just playing with her and she was just something on the side and that youve been interested in someone else the whole time. (you like it eh? :)

I can promise you now you will find out immediately if she is interested.

I did this with a fairly young player of girl 2 months ago, I sensed a LJBF coming fro her so I said it first....4 days later she asked ME out on a date. and it was all downhill from there.
