but ive never felt so low or bad as this but in some way i feel free/liberated

this is the first time ive had "heart break" and perhaps this can be learned from and be used to help performance in the future?

Well first, I wouldn't really consider it a real heartbreak because what you're feeling is just the tip of the iceberg in all reality. You're just pretty bummed and I would be too if I were you.

With that being said, I think it was definitely for the better because if you are ever going to become a PUA, you have to become immune to rejection and sometimes immune to emotion in general lol.

When you " fail " go back and think what worked and what didnt work. Next time when go out you know how to avoid the situation you are now in. You will become a wiser person than you were before.
I usually write a field raport which includes the postive and the negative things concerning my playing. It would also benefit you if you write up some observation results you noticed in the bar ( For example observe how AFC s play and how the girls respond to that ). This will improve your game for sure instead of just thinking that " i just had a bad night ". If you like to sarge with your mates than its usually a good way to improve your future game by asking what they noticed that was the weakest link in your game. This is good because it allows you to observe yourself in a third person.
This may not help you in this specific case but it will benefit you in a long term when you deal with failure.
