The Mystery Method is without a doubt, the 'Bible' of Pick Up books. Everything else is basically updates versions of it. Some people have their own styles and are worth a read (De Angelo, RJ).

But basically the Mystery Method is to Pick Up what the Rule book is to Football. Yes pick up has developed since the MM but its the first and best.

If you want inner game or natural game the Mystery method is not what you are looking for. Mystery does mention it and does stress that it is important but he does not go into detail. And you have to be experienced to actually see what he means, its between the lines.

My advice to you is to start with something easy, like Styles book the game. Style is known as Neil Strauss. That is an easy overview over most parts of the society. From there you can look for more info. Hypnotica is good, on this forum btw. Truth is that there arent that many "books" on modern pickup, not many books that reach your local bookstore anyway. Most good material is available online, ask Chief for his stuff. Many people on this forum has started to write down their take on things and that is some good stuff!

Ye as i said, Pick up has moved on from MM, but if your starting from scratch, read it first. Its the basics.

I strongly recommend picking up The Definitive Book of Body Language. Body language is something that is important to understand in our line of art and everywhere else.

After reading this, I noticed improvements everywhere. One thing that I have noticed about studying body language though, is that you have to keep up with it at the beginning and practice reading people, just so it becomes really ingrained.

Cheers

I recommend Adam Lyons (AFCAdam). Also, don't get too bogged down in reading. Get the general principles and then go out there with your newfound confidence and PRACTICE. We don't need any more keyboard jockeys on here!
