| I asked girl I know as an acquaintance for a couple of years out to go "do something". She seemed excited, then I let the time pass for a couple of weeks. A couple of days ago I saw her again and she reminded me, I told her I'd hit her up. I did that evening late by text and she gave a tiny bit of resistance wanting me to qualify the movie as "really really funny" (she's younger -- 20, shy and international Asian). She agreed when I mentioned the movie, whatever... (I built it like now or never, next weekend of Halloween had to spend time with kid brother, otherwise working, she's out of town this Sat/Sun -- set it for Friday).
I said I'd contact her the next day with the details. Did so yesterday, she seemed not to want to go to the popular theater close to our school (Asian friend judgment I gather), changed it to another one and set it with a dinner before. She okayed it with a smiley in the text, I said I'd pick her at 7.
She today she just texted last minute, 2 and half hours ahead without explanation basically "Can't make it, let's do it next time, sorry about that." I think I'm going to wait it out until 45 minutes before, then call her (no voicemail) and make it somewhat difficult (maybe say "forget it?", text it if she doesn't answer). Any solid advice for last minute flaking?
(EDIT: Oh yea, she also posted at like 4am this morning on her Facebook status about how she "was done with her homework and ready to see the movie!!!", but deleted that since, I imagine thinking I didn't see it because I'm rarely on.)
