In modern day times we take for greanted the current situation and very few think about the current trend in socirty that affect our current status.

Only the stock market for seen that the american estate agents would end up causing a world recession. If you did ... don't smile too much.

So how does that effect us and out our life in the game?

There are more students in england and i assume american now than almost ever due to the lack of job oppotunities. This seems like a fantastic thing as student like to party, and a room full of sets is never a bad thing.

However my city and most overs over the world have expereinced some of the lowest quarters of bar activitiy/finicail takings in 7 years. People are being more intelligent with thier money. Also from my own finding and talking to many many people in the night industries the amount of people is down too...

The point am making is this Must affect your game bad or good.

How is the next year going to change socirty and how best is it to train yourself/prepare for the structure and trends of socirty in 1 years time.

Ok. Now to the practical stuff, if you have stayed with me so far, your proberbly going to adapt better than 95% of pua's out there, just because you care and are socailly aware. Thats good news.

So how can we use this?
There are usually more guys out than girls, but now there are less guys. Good. There are usually people so drunk (england lol) that by 1 am certain types of game in the majoirty doesn't work (exceptions aside of course).
So Less guys and more people who are easier to talk to.
mmmmhh.
If there are less people in the bar, unless your direct game is very tight, its not going to be as effective, due to less people out thus talking to each other the party SPAM is not as it was. Therefore you approaching will seem less in tune with most enviroments thus giving you less value.

Opinion operners, i can see them becoming a massive trend again due to the socail nature and fitting in with the low party SPAM.
Socail proof WILL in the next year become even more inportant as the SPAM of parties become more like clubs there will become a even bigger need to be pre selected and socailly viable in bars. Concentrate ON THIS!

The rest, well drinking water more acceptable, people have less money, sharing cabs is more acceptable. House parties also more in tune will economice difficulties.
Seroiusly this is a gold mine waiting for you to find it....

the recession is overblown.

it really doesn't effect anyone that much...(only decreasing job opportunities)

If there was no media telling us there was a recession for the last year, how many people would actually have noticed?
This is a media created recession more than anything.

The people commenting on this thread must not have a financial background. It's foolish to suggest all this stuff is 'made up'. Tell that to the kids of those in the double digit unemployed, the retirees whose wealth was halfed over night, and a financial institution which almost entirely collapsed. (All this was in America, not sure how it was other places.)

But does it affect high school/college students? Not unless your parents were laid off or your a senior, looking to get a job next year.
To be fair, those who are retired are getting hit hard, mainly due to interest rates. Also those with large amounts of savings.
However, where I am most people are no better or worse off than they were 2 years ago, the only area hit is savings are interest related sectors.
There are obviously higher unemployment rates in certain industries, but luckily most people where I am have not been hit by this. Looking at the businesses we own, the media has a massive role in the recession. A month or two ago the news networks started headlining things like "recession over" etc, that caused a massive increase in business in the following weeks. This was just the same as when the news networks started speaking of a recession, business suddenly dropped. I am not saying all industry is effected in this way, but can you honestly deny the media is playing a massive role in how the "recession" worked out?

As for how it effects day to day life, if you are low on money, you simply have to find things that don't cost much. As a student, this doesn't really effect me as I never had much money to start with, simple things like going to a beach or park to sit around and talk with a group of friends is common, compared to maybe going out to the cinema. There are many things you can do for free and many more ways to economise your living, you just have to decide what your not willing to compromise on.

Hows about,
When i make posts people form constuctive ideas and arguments. They add to what i say or add something in ideas instead of saying.
"This isn't true."
And falling into "passive aggressive" - deangelo

Hmm, big problem with forums really. Sometimes something sounds cold and aggressive even though it wasn't actually meant to be. I have seen this happen before.

we did, we pointed out the entire basis of it being not something worth talking about lol.

and yeah there are realistic losses to the recession, but its still media fear mongering. like GM is pretty much doomed to fail because the media has made it seem like they could fail at any minute, so no one is gonna buy any GM cars and not be able to enact the warranty or repairs. If the media wasn't addicted to making people fearful, the recession would probably be less than it is.

and people being affected by a recession doesn't make it a real recession. oh 3% more unemployment? whoop di do....the economy fluctuates, thats what it does. and nothing the government can do now is gonna make it come back faster.

I agree with Hobbit, for once.

My dad had an amazing real-estate business going.

He had 5 houses, all rented out, he made 200 bucks per house a month. (The rentees paid for the mortgage/ gas etc and that was the profit)

If this would of kept going he would of expanded majorly and in 20 years he'd have a load of houses paid off.

He now has 2 houses left and is not paying for the rest of them.

Why? It's the recession - obviously people with no financial background cannot comprehend the veritable pantheon of a recession we're in - but the ones who are in business feel it.

this recession has been great for buying houses.

realistically, this is only a recession to people that aren't super business savvy and put too much trust in the cards, when history has shown the economy to fluctuate this much fairly often.
