I'm a freshman in college and like most people say, gaming in the college environment can come off as being kinda weird or creepy. So, I first want to develop and have a strong foundation of social skills. Universal skills such as :
1)Being Social.
2)Being a good conversationalist.
3)Being humorous and having the ability to make people laugh.

Also skills intended to help me with women:
1)Ability to flirt.
2)Teasing.

Here's something you can try out:

Make a list of all the hobbies/things you do with your free time and check to see if you're campus has any clubs related to any of those things. Just introduce yourself and keep the conversation to the things you already know and do. Once you do that you'll feel more comfortable in conversing in general. Once you feel comfortable conversing with other people, the game becomes a lot easier because your confidence shows!
