Hey guys,

I'm fairly confident with woman. Sometimes I get them sometimes I don't. I can accept that and know I need more practice.

One area that I would like to improve though is my dancing. I find it extremely hard to dance. I used to be quite shy about dancing in clubs and never did it, but after I read The Game I thought what the hell and started.

What tends to happen is I'm too repetitive, or not animated enough. I find it hard to just "move with the beat". I have to think about what I'm doing etc. I generally look at what other people are doing and mix it together to fit in - which I know is bad.

Need suggestions for dancing alone, and when approaching/approached by woman.

What advice can you guys give me :)? Or should I just continue what I'm doing.

As long as your up there dancing no matter how good or bad it is AT LEAST your up there and you know what girls will see that and just let your confidence shine from within. As cheesy as it sounds if you feel comfortable and dont give a damn about what other people are thinking ule do great.

An example is a friend of mine who goes on the dancefloor and pulls the most shockingly bad dance moves that tend to be cheesy and grabs hold of his belt and starts throwing his hand it the air all disco style and you know what to my amazement he picks up girls because they see he doesnt care and hes confident in his own skin.

I wouldnt take any lessons in dancing you could even use it as a neg or an open for a girl like you could see a girl you like bump into her and tell her "hey if a stranger needed your help would you help them" Im sure that most people would be like err yeh i guess and then ask " Well can you show me some dance moves cus im really bad at it". Most girls would find this funny! Or neg them and say " You seem really energetic because you have the weirdest dance moves" They might comment back then about your dancing and you can vibe off that!

Thanks Mike21, that's some great advice right there.

I believe the mistake I'm making is not being "wide" enough, as the moves don't count too much. I mean the more queer moves you make, the more attention you'll get right (Having awesome moves is better still though)? Confidence is what matters :).

All the clubs where I am have the speakers aimed directly at the dance floor, short of screaming down one's ear, nothing can be heard. Turning something negative around is a great way to do this. I'm going out tonight and will see how it goes.

I considered dancing classes, but generally club dancing doesn't fit what you learn in dancing classes.

In my experience (for the UK) at least the actual ability to dance matters very little contrary what the typical guy thinks. As far as what to do in terms of dancing watch what other guys are doing and dance similarly (though not from on the dance floor or somewhere silly obvious otherwise you'll just be lowering your value in the room).

The key thing i find it looking like you're having having fun and confident (notice the word look, so what you feel like a tit they don't know that). Avoid looking around yourself too much (a bad habit of mine) and just focus on being on the beat.

The standard of dancing in the uk is much lower than America from what i hear tho.
